Just moved here for the next 6 months and would love to meet fellow burners. Am in some need of decompression. This year was quite an experience.

Sat, September 8, 2007 - 4:36 PMWelcome, Tami! Let's chat decompression...There is not much to speak of here in Fresno. Some folks have traveled to SF for Decompression. I'll be making plans as soon as I know the date. Other than that, the best place to hang around is the Tower District. The first Thursday of every month is Art Hop. I like the downtown galleries the best.

Also there are the Rogue Year Round events.
This month on the 30th at the Starline is Barry Smith repeating his "Jesus in Montana" one man show, and my troupe Tanjora Tribal Bellydance is the opening act. I forget who the act on the 28th is...

There's also the Pagan Pride celebration on Sept 29th at the Discovery Center.
There are also DJ events weekly/monthly at Vini Vedi Vidi and Thaiphoon......

There is salsa dancing on Thursday evenings at the Starline. $12 if there is a band, $8 if there is a DJ. No drink minimum. The dance lesson starts at 8:45 and lasts about an hour.
Are you living in the Tower? I do so maybe we can actually meet face to face. -
